The accurate way to convert shoe sizes between brands
Most shoe size charts fail you in the same way: they assume a US 10 is a US 10 everywhere. It isn't. A Nike men's US 10 fits a foot roughly 27.1 cm long, while an Adidas men's US 10 fits closer to 27.6 cm. The label matches; the shoe doesn't. This free shoe size converter fixes that by anchoring every conversion on foot length in centimeters taken from each brand's official size chart, then finding the closest size in the brand you're buying. The result is the most accurate chart-equivalent size you can get without trying the shoe on.
Convert shoe sizes in US, UK, EU and CM
Whether you need a US to UK shoe size conversion, UK to EU, US to EU, or want to turn a foot measurement in cm to a shoe size, the converter handles every direction. Pick the brand and size you already own, choose the brand you're converting to, and you'll instantly see the equivalent US, UK, EU and centimeter sizing side by side. It works as an international shoe size converter too, so a European EU 44, a UK 9.5 and a US 10.5 all line up against the same real foot length instead of a rounded guess. Because rounding errors compound when you chain US → UK → EU by hand, anchoring on cm keeps you a half-size more accurate.
Men's, women's and kids' shoe size conversion
Sizing also shifts between genders and age groups, and that's where most people buy the wrong size. Our men's to women's shoe size converter applies the correct offset — typically about 1.5 sizes, so a women's US 8.5 lands near a men's US 7 — but verifies it against foot length rather than the rule-of-thumb alone. The same goes for women's to men's conversions and for using a kids' shoe size converter when a youth size needs to map to an adult size. If you only know your foot length, the cm lookup tells you your shoe size in any system without guessing.
Nike, Adidas, Jordan and sneaker size charts
Every brand cuts its lasts a little differently, so a single generic shoe size chart can't be trusted across the board. WhatShoeSize pulls from each brand's published chart, which is why a Nike shoe size chart conversion and an Adidas shoe size chart conversion give different cm anchors for the same US number. We currently cover Nike, Air Jordan, Adidas, New Balance, Converse, Vans, Asics, Puma and Reebok — so you can run a reliable sneaker size conversion between any two of them before you check out.
Does it run true to size? Per-model fit guides
A converter gets you the right chart size, but it can't tell you that the Air Jordan 1 runs roomy or the Adidas Samba runs long. That's what our true-to-size fit guides are for. For 58 popular models we summarize what real buyers report — whether the shoe runs big or small, narrow or wide, and whether you should size up, down, or stay true — and we link the discussion threads each verdict is based on. Convert your size first, then check the fit guide for the exact model to lock in the right purchase.

How brand-to-brand conversion works here
Instead of chaining US → UK → EU arithmetic (which compounds rounding error), we look up your foot length in centimeters from the source brand's official chart, then find the closest cm in the target brand's chart. That gives you the most accurate chart-equivalent size, and the fit-guide pages tell you how the specific model deviates from the chart.
Frequently asked questions about shoe size conversion
How do I convert my shoe size from US to UK?
Enter your US size and brand in the converter and select the UK target — for most brands a US men's size is about 0.5 smaller in UK sizing (a US 10 is roughly a UK 9.5), but the exact offset varies by brand, which is why the converter anchors on foot length in cm rather than a fixed rule.
What is my shoe size in cm?
Your shoe size in cm is your actual foot length measured heel to longest toe. Enter your US, UK or EU size in the converter and it shows the equivalent centimeter length, or measure your foot and use the cm value to find your size in any brand.
Why do my Nike and Adidas in the "same" US size feel different?
Because they aren't actually the same length. A Nike men's US 10 fits a foot about 27.1 cm long; Adidas men's US 10 fits about 27.6 cm. The labels match, the shoes don't. The converter anchors on actual foot length to handle this.
How do I convert a men's shoe size to a women's size?
Most brands use about a 1.5-size offset, so a women's US 8.5 is close to a men's US 7. The converter applies the offset and checks it against foot length so you get the right size rather than just the rule of thumb.
Should I trust this over the brand's own chart?
The size numbers come from each brand's official chart. The per-model advice comes from publicly discussed buyer consensus — that's where this site adds value the brand's chart can't.
What's the difference between "CM (JP)" and "Foot Length (cm)"?
The CM / JP number Nike prints on the shoe box is the JP marketing size, not your foot length — it overstates real foot length by ~0.3–0.5 cm. Foot length is the physical measurement of your foot. We use foot length wherever the brand publishes it.
