Yeezy 450
Sizing & fit guide

Our verdict
Go 1 size up
The Yeezy 450 is extremely narrow and tight — the strong consensus is to size up a full size from your true size, and wide feet should go 1.5 to 2 sizes up. True to size is widely described as 'suffocating.'
High confidence

Two ways to fit it

A full size up is the baseline (narrow/standard feet); wide feet go 1.5–2 up. Only go ½ up if you deliberately want a very locked-in fit — most who did wished they'd gone a full size.

Tighter, cleaner fit
Go ½ size up
Relaxed / wide-foot fit

Why the Yeezy 450 fits this way

The 450's sculpted, high-walled knit upper wraps the foot in a way no other Yeezy does, and it runs very narrow. The dominant advice is a full size up minimum: "full size up for narrow. 2 size up for wide. u'll be glad u sized up. TTS is suffocating." Even people who went ½ up regret it — "I went half size up and wished I went a full. I don't have wide feet or anything" — and a narrow-footed wearer confirms "a full size up fits perfect. These aren't wide feet friendly." In direct CMPCT-vs-450 threads, the repeated split is "TTS/½ up on the CMPCT, 1 to 1.5 up on the 450," and some go "1.5 to 2 up" for the 450.

Wide feet face the hardest fit: one owner warns "if you have wide feet there's no amount of sizing up that will fix the problems it has... extremely unique design but extremely uncomfortable to wear." So the 450 is best treated as a narrow-foot shoe you buy big. Net: go a full size up from true (narrow/standard feet); 1.5–2 up for wide feet; never buy it true to size. This is one of the most consistent size-up signals of any Yeezy, so confidence is high.

Common scenarios

I wear US 11 normally. What size Yeezy 450?

US 12 — the 450 is very narrow and tight, so a full size up is the baseline. If you have wide feet, consider 12.5–13 (1.5–2 up).

Can I get away with ½ up?

Most people who tried ½ up wished they'd gone a full size. For the 450, size up a full size at minimum — true size and ½ up both tend to feel suffocating.

I have wide feet — will sizing up fix it?

Only partly. Go 1.5–2 sizes up, but know the 450 is fundamentally a narrow silhouette; some wide-footers find it uncomfortable no matter the size.

How it compares to other models

  • Yeezy Boost 350 V2 High confidence

Far more aggressive size-up — the 450 needs a full size up (vs ½ on the 350 V2) because it's much narrower and tighter

  • Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT Medium confidence

Opposite ends of the same threads — CMPCT runs TTS/roomy while the 450 needs 1–1.5+ up
