Why the Yeezy 700 V3 fits this way
The 700 V3 ditched the chunky midsole of the V1/V2 for a sculpted cage over a sock-like knit bootie, and that construction wraps the foot closely — including a snug "tongue" piece over the instep that some find presses at first before breaking in.
