Why the Yeezy Slide fits this way
Yeezy Slide sizing is famously inconsistent — "Yeezy slides sizing is whack" — partly because they're sold only in full sizes and partly because Adidas' own guidance changed over time (the product page now says true to size, and some early buyers who sized up now "regret going up a size"). Cutting through it, the foam footbed runs small and the toe/heel walls hold your foot, so the practical consensus is to size up: "Half size, Full size for Wide," "1 up is more comfortable," and for those between sizes, round up to the next full size.
Foot width and shape drive the call. Narrow-footed wearers do best true to size — "I wear mine tts, but I have narrow feet." Standard feet lean up about a half (a full size in practice, since there are no half sizes). Wide feet go a full size, and dedicated wide-foot references suggest up to +1.5 (e.g., a 10.5 wide-footer landing on a 12). A helpful heel-position tip from an owner: in the right size the foam should block your foot slightly before the toe edge, leaving little wasted space at the back. If you have narrow feet, US 10 works. Standard feet should size up to US 11, and wide feet go US 11–12. There are no half sizes, so when in doubt, round up.

Slides use unisex (men's) sizing. A women's US 8–8.5 lands around a men's US 7. Have her go down ~1.5 from her women's size, then apply the same size-up guidance for fit.
